Behind on taxes from your commissions? Let's get you caught up.

Commissions come in on 1099 with nothing withheld, so it's easy to fall a year or two behind. We rebuild your income and expenses, file every missing federal and Georgia return, and set you up so it doesn't happen again.

1099s with no return behind them

Brokerages report your commissions to the IRS. If you didn't file, the IRS can build a return for you, with none of your deductions.

Letters you've been avoiding

IRS or Georgia DOR notices about unfiled years or a balance due get more expensive the longer they sit.

A lender asking for two years of returns

Buying a home or refinancing is on hold until you're filed.

Filing stops the most expensive penalty, even if you can't pay yet.

5% / monthIRS late-filing penalty on unpaid tax, up to 25%. Filing stops it.
0.5% / monthLate-payment penalty: a tenth of the rate, and payment plans exist.

How we get you caught up

  • Pull your IRS transcripts to see exactly what's missing
  • Rebuild commission income from 1099s and bank deposits
  • Recover deductions: mileage, MLS and board dues, E&O, marketing, phone
  • File every missing federal and Georgia year
  • Quarterly estimates set up so next April isn't a surprise
  • Ongoing bookkeeping and filing once you're current, if you want it
Step 1Free review

20 minutes to understand where you stand. Confidential.

Step 2Diagnostic

With your authorization we pull up to 6 years of IRS transcripts and check your Georgia account.

Step 3Written roadmap

Which years are missing, what you likely owe or are owed, and a flat quote before any work starts.

Step 4File every year

We rebuild the records, file every return, then keep you current.

What we won't do: promise to settle your debt for "pennies on the dollar." Most people need their returns filed correctly and a plan to pay what's left. If you need someone to negotiate with the IRS, representation is handled through our CPA partner.

Common questions

How many years do I need to file?

Usually the last six, but it depends on your situation. We confirm from your IRS transcripts before quoting.

I didn't track mileage. Is it lost?

Not always. We can often rebuild a reasonable log from your calendar, showings and closing records.

What if I can't pay what I owe?

File anyway. The late-filing penalty is ten times the late-payment penalty, and payment plans exist. We'll show you your options.
